The Road Not Taken

The Road Not Taken By Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.[1]

What is Hope? What does it do? I am not sure that I know.

If I could describe it , it would sound like this, a whisper to your heart that everything is going to be okay.It could be a dim candle in the darkness of the soul. It could be a drop of water in the desert. I think it is like finding mana in the wilderness.

It seems that hope shows up when things on the outside seem to have no hope. It is When we will not accept the out come for what it is , but use it as a stepping stone to go a little farther. It is to fallow your heart even when everyone else thinks you are crazy. To never give up.

It is trusting what God gave you even if it doesn’t make since.I saw that a lot in the bible.

I just want to say that today HOPE is my friend.

Encouragement When Broken

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit Psalm 34:18

In my hurtful disappointment, I am finding peace in knowing the my Father is near to me. He knows just how I feel and cares about everything that I am going through.

We face some of the most difficult adversities that we thought we never would as human beings. We wonder in those times “did I not pray enough?”or ” What did I ever do to cause this”? We wonder why God didn’t bring the healing, or let that loved one live, or save that relationship. These are the very things that make us doubt our faith. But, through it all GOD IS NEAR.

I take great comfort in this today, as my family is facing some hard situations.

2 Corinthians 12:9

9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

God Bless.

An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. Proverbs12:25

God’s Time

Have you ever noticed that you get  word from the Lord at some of the most un expected times.

That just happened to me . Somethings happened recently that has brought some great disappointment to my husband and I. We are in a state of shock wondering how this situation will work out. Doing my usual, getting  support from church family, going into action about preparing the fields for Gods plan and then doing what needs to be done in everyday life on top of it all.

Then I started to prepare my pre-school classes lesson I began to read it. Realized it was about the very situation that my family is going through. We need a healing in our family. The story is about 10 lepers. The front page of the lesson is for the teachers. It talked about how in one instant the lives of those 10 men were changed.

It was a light bulb moment for me. In one bad moment of your life Jesus can show up and completely change everything. He can restore what the enemy tries to steal from us. He is just Good Like that.

I look at this situation, not from a defeated position, but from the throne room of a King.I am a princes with a Heavenly Father, and the devil will regret the day he messed with me and my family.

Thank you God for loving me and caring for me enough to prepare my heart mind and spirit.Thank you for your precious timing. -Jesus name ,Amen.
